This bundle includes the essential items you need that can’t be bought together elsewhere with the perfect ratio, making it easy and cost-effective to get started. The ratios are specifically designed to create a 5-pound mushroom fruiting block, ensuring the right balance of nutrients and structure for optimal growth. Each bundle comes with a 5 cc liquid culture syringe (choose your mushroom variety), a 1-pound grain spawn bag, 2 pounds of hardwood pellets, and a filter bag matched to the size of a full grow block. The liquid culture syringe also includes a sterile needle and an alcohol wipe for easy and contamination-free inoculation.

If you’d like to grow multiple varieties, simply select your desired mushroom variety, add the bundle to your cart, and repeat for each additional variety. This setup saves you money compared to buying items separately from different websites and helps reduce shipping costs.

For best results, use the grain spawn bag as soon as possible after receiving it to ensure optimal freshness and performance. While not in use, store the liquid culture syringe in the refrigerator to maintain its viability until you’re ready to inoculate.

1. Inoculate the Grain Spawn Bag: Use the entire 5 cc liquid culture syringe to inoculate the 1-pound grain spawn bag. This eliminates the need to store leftover liquid culture, making the process simple and contamination-free.

2. Colonization: Allow the grain bag to fully colonize in a clean environment. This stage is where the mycelium spreads throughout the grain.

3. Transfer to the Filter Bag: Once colonized, transfer the grain spawn to the filter bag with your substrate. The filter bag helps maintain proper airflow while protecting against contamination.

4. Incubate & Fruiting: Place the bag in suitable conditions based on the mushroom variety you’re growing, and watch your mushrooms thrive!

Each bundle comes with a liquid culture syringe of the mushroom variety of your choice. Simply select the variety of your choice and add the bundle to your cart.

• Storage: If you’re not ready to use your liquid culture right away, store it in the refrigerator to maintain its viability.

• Hardwood Pellets: Hardwood pellets are not included in the bundle due to high shipping costs. We recommend purchasing them locally (e.g., Canawick pellets in Canada at Canadian Tire, or Pit Boss pellets in the U.S. at Walmart).
